Story Behind the Need:

• Business group: GTS IT Service Automation is seeking a BA/QA (50/50) resource for Software Asset management project, this project is going to utilize ServiceNow SAM module to implement it within the bank to facilitate the effective usage of software regarding expense, renew and licensing management, this BA/QA role is critical to this project to ensure the requirements is correct, feasible and align with industry best practices, also the resource will ensure the implementation is completed successfully according to requirements via proper testing
• The main function of a Senior BA/QA is to gather and document business requirements, prepare test cases(scenarios), perform IST testing and manager UAT testing.

Typical Day in Role:

• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• Service Now experience (asset module experience preferred), incident change problems and service request) – 5+ years of hands on experience
• Business Analyst – 5+ years of experience
• Quality Assurance Analyst – 3+ years of experience
• Hands on experience in participating big project from end-to-end is required – 5+ years
• Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC – 3+ years
• Experience with creating test cases and execute tests case, manage IST & UAT testing, resolution closure – 3+ years of experience

Soft- Skills:

• Very strong communication and negotiation skills (written & verbal) – will be working with a large project team, will be attending multiple meetings and settle agreements

Nice to Have:

• ServiceNow SAM module experience
• Hands on experience using test management tool, e.g. HP ALM is highly preferred
• FI/Banking experience – prefer one of the big 5 banks
• ITIL2
• ServiceNow Certificate

Degrees or certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
