Story behind the need:
• Business group: GWO – FX and Derivative Serives – Regulatory Trade Reporting – Supports the capital markets global business market team. Mandate is to ensure compliance with regards to regulatory reporting. (Part of global wholesale operations).
• Project: The bank aims to migrate current MiFID II Trade and Transaction reporting to strategic solotuion referred to as as RegCentral. The primary driver for the project is consolidation of trade reporting functionality onto RegCentral. Phase 1 of the migration includes Transaction reporting functionality for K2 Peak, WSS FX, Murex, Swap One, SCOTS, and MMI London. The remaining systems will be migrated in Phase II, in late 2025/early 2026 to be aligned with Mifid III regulatory timelines.

Typical Day in the role:
• Soliciting and writing business requirements in response to the regulation
• Executing and creating test cases
• Defining business solutions for the requirements
• Building controls around the solution (process, database solution)
• Reading rules and understanding business requirement, writing test cases
• Interact with the following stakeholders: Technology group, compliance, legal and other business stakeholders (confirmations, settlements)
• 25-30% in meetings/ working groups to understand how everything comes together and overall impact
Must have skills:
• 8+ years as a BA (senior capacity BA)
• 5+ Capital Markets experience
• 3+ years of experience in Mifid II Trade Reporting
• Recent project experience with Mifid II or equivalent regulatory trade reporting
• Well balanced understanding of regulations in business and technology
Nice to have skills:
• Experience with Mifid II Regulations – RTS 2 and RTS 22

Education:
• Bachelor degree, Post-secondary or relevant work experience
Best vs Average Candidate:
• The ideal candidate would be a BA with prior Regulatory experience. CIRO is preferred, although regulatory reporting experience is a requirement for consideration. Financial/information reporting is not sufficient.
Interviews:
• 2 rounds – 45 minutes video interviews:
o 1st round – HM, behavioral and technical interview
o 2nd round: As needed, panel interview
• Interview availability: ASAP
Additional notes:
• HM needs a seasoned BA that can work with minimal guidance.
