Story Behind the Need

• Business group: Global Cash Management
• The team focused on internal treasury reporting around liquidity and funding metrics.
• The developer will be modifying the back-end to align to the front-end reporting.

Typical Day in Role:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL databases and data warehouses
• Optimize database performance through efficient query tuning, indexing, and partitioning strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for database solutions
• Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI
• Document database processes, procedures, and best practices
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in database development, data visualization, and finance

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or Database Administrator
• Proficiency in SQL programming and database design principles
• 5+ years of experience with database performance optimization techniques
• 1+ years of Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of finance principles and FI experience
• Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate

Soft Skills Required:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field

Best vs. Average Candidate

• The ideal candidate would have strong knowledge and experience with SQL as well a strong understanding of database procedures.

o 1st – HM + peer – 1 hr – MS Teams Video
o 2nd – HM + Director – 30 mins – In-person preferred
• Hiring Manager’s availability to interview: ASAP
