• Agency 361 is Clinet’s newly launched internal Content Creation Agency, we are a growing team of talented Designers, Copywriters, Editors, Producers, Account Managers and Strategists who are enabling Client’s vision of producing relevant, brand building, content at scale. We work directly with the lines of businesses within Marketing, across the Client’s Enterprise and in collaboration with our external Agency network to concept and execute content published in all formats across paid, owned and earned channels.
• As a part of the Creative Operations team within Agency 361, the DAM Librarian manages the internal Digital Asset Management tool and oversees the taxonomy, cataloguing, archiving, metadata tagging as well as the general health of the system.
•Establish governance models for categorizing, indexing and archiving all content and information resources, ensuring process outlined is being practiced by all users.
•Develop and oversee process to effectively manage rights for licensed assets, including photography and video media licensing and casting talent.
•Maintain relationship and ongoing communication with DAM vendor, technical support partners, internal and external users.
•Liaise with a group of super users across the organization to facilitate feedback loop, test new processes and act as DAM subject matter experts for their respective teams.
•Define requirements/criteria for asset management and workflows and communicate to all internal and external business partners delivering final assets.
•Develop reports as needed to support process governance and monitoring user activity to identify opportunities for further automation or enhancements.
•Act as first the point of contact for user support; provide training, guidance on rights management best practices and helping with search queries.
•Complete training required to gain and maintain deep expertise of the DAM tool, developing the ability to; act as application administrator, navigate the tool effectively, implement basic configuration changes and develop reporting as needed.
•Assist in evaluating, integrating and testing with other Marketing related technologies to deliver process and productivity gains.
•Partner with internal technology support teams to ensure system functions properly, updates are applied and tested, and new functionalities are tested and implemented.
•Stay abreast of industry leading platforms and emerging trends as it relates to managing digital assets.
•4+ yrs exp. in Digital Asset Mgt. (DAM) Librarian or Digital Archives role
•Exp. designing systems for tagging images & cataloguing taxonomy
•In-depth knowledge of file formats (print, digital, and video)
•Exp. with Content Management Systems (CMS)
•Knowledge of Talent contracts & Rights Mgt. & media usage rights terminology
•Familiar with metadata standards, communication standards, & classifying systems
•Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
•Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud & MS Office suites
Nice to have:
•Database mgt. exp. and/or back end development
•Master’s of Science in Library & Info. Science or equiv. exp. managing Digital Libraries
•Exp. managing large volumes of creative assets within an agency or similar env.
