Story Behind the Need:

• Business group: COAT – Contact Centre Technology – group that provides system support for the contact centre for Canadian banking
• Project: The CCaaS Program needs ETL Developer. Implementation is planned for Jun-2025. CCaaS Program – Contact centre as a service project/program – this role will be working with Campaign management team – manage control monitor the flow of campaigns that go out to different channels (client online, mobile, contact center)

Typical Day in Role:

• Work as ETL Developer in AIX environment
• Tech stack: Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.
• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area. Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience as an ETL Developer
• 3+ years in AIX environment
• 3+ years’ experience with Oracle databases
• 3+ years’ experience of ETL development using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with these ETL tools:
o Microsoft SQL server Integration Services (SSIS)
o DataStage from IBM
o Informatica
• Experience with SQL Loader and SQL blocks
• Exposure to large highly matrixed organizations

Soft Skills Required:

• Strong communication skills
• Team player, collaborative mindset
• Attention to detail

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field

Best VS. Average Candidate:

• Best is a strong ETL developer who has recent experience working with Oracle and ODI in an AIX environment

• 1 round – in person preferred at 2201 Eglinton Ave East Scarborough – 30 minutes – with HM with technical lead – technical itnerview, no live coding but will probe on technical expertise
