Story Behind the Need:

• Business Group: Client Services and Solutions is seeking 3 bilingual (English/French) IT HelpDesk contractors to provide ongoing support. On the job training will be provided.

Candidate Value Proposition:

• The successful candidate will have the opportunity to get exposure to different areas of the bank.

Typical Day in the Role:

• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems, typically of a lower complexity
• May install software or perform hardware testing remotely
• Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors
• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities
• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support

Must Have Skills:

• Fluent in English & French*
• Extremely strong communication skills – written & verbal
• Work well under pressure & strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn quickly, great time management skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Help Desk experience
• FI/Banking

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree- University or College
