Job Description:

• Client is looking for a Marketing Manager to join the Business Credit Cards Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the candidate will be responsible for marketing customer engagement strategy.
• They will act as a marketing strategist to deliver acquisition marketing plans to support their business objectives by working closely with partners across marketing, agencies and internal business partners.

On a typical day at work, you will be expected to:

• Create integrated marketing campaigns that meet business and marketing strategies and objectives
• Gather, integrate and interpret existing views of the target audience, including demographic, attitudinal, and behavioral data to create campaign kick offs and briefs
• Develop marketing strategies and plans; understand market and growth drivers, create a vision of market, channel, and segment potential, develop value propositions and proof points that further our competitive advantage, and translate business strategies into marketing plans
• Deliver and monitor results; ensure stated objectives are delivered on plan (monitor/ early indicators) and where required, take corrective actions to achieve targets
• Prioritize and manage own workload to meet service level requirements for service and productivity
• Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for respective business area(s)
• Act as Marketing Advisor for a business, typically leading or contributing on projects of moderate scope and complexity
• Integrate knowledge of the enterprise sub-function’s or business line’s overarching strategy in a complex field for developing solutions across multiple functions or operations
• Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
• Provide thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge for own area of expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit
• Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques

Department Overview:

• The Marketing team delivers end to end marketing strategies from creation to execution to performance tracking.
• The team is responsible for partnering with business units/channels and Marketing experts across the organization to create and execute world class marketing strategies, plans and campaigns that drive shareholder value and increase customer loyalty.
• As key business partners, marketers act as consultants to the businesses on all aspects of marketing, influencing the business strategy, as well as ensuring that the brand is protected and delivered with the best customer experience.
• Roles on this team include a range of capabilities for developing, executing and managing communications across Marketing, in support of business objectives and in alignment with the brand.

Job Requirements:

• Integrated knowledge of business, operational functions, methods and regulatory requirements to solve complex problems and develop new solutions
• Expert knowledge of technical processes, procedures, tools and technologies and project management methodologies
• Strong communications skills and organizational awareness to communicate difficult concepts, coordinate effectively with increasingly senior shareholders and integrate work with other areas
• A dynamic leader with robust organizational and team management skills to work with a team and handle multiple priorities a fast-paced environment:
• Will be on the business credit card marking team (credit cards are specifically for businesses)
• Speaking to current customers (benefits on cards, tools available to them as card holders, etc.)
• Communication could be talking about reinforcing cash back, travel benefits, etc.
• Focused on the current customer base
• Managing multiple campaigns at once
• Training: will be job shadowing/buddy system

Must Have:

• Marketing Experience – 7 years
• End-to-end marketing campaign management
• Strong organization and project management skills

Nice to have:

• Marketing Management Experience
• Customer engagement focus (talking to current customers)
• Previous banking/financial institution experience

Degree/Certifications Required:

• Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required

Interview Process:

• WebEx Video; aiming for 1 rounds of interview
