Summary Of Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

• As a Senior UX Designer at Client, you’re a strong advocate for the customer. You’re formally trained in design and passionate about customer-centric innovation.
• You are a strategic thinker. You will work closely with the experience strategist to ideate and strategize ways to meet both customer needs and business objectives.
• You are a designer that thinks beyond the pixels. You don’t just think about the digital experience but how the digital experience fits into our customers overall experience and life.
• You take pride in your work. You obsess over details and insist on iterating until you’ve gotten it right. You see feedback as a good thing. You’re a great storyteller who is at ease presenting and discussing your work with clients and stakeholders. You challenge old ways of thinking and put the customer at the center of everything you do. User-Centered Design methodologies are second nature to you.

Responsibilities:

• Transform complex problems into elegant experiences.
• Ideation, concept development and experience innovation
• Creation of sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios, and storyboards
• Advocate for the user throughout the project lifecycle
• Stay abreast of current design methodologies, practices, and trends
• Participation in observational studies, usability testing and other customer research
• Effective communication of conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design approaches/rationales

Must Have:

• A degree in design or a design-related discipline (industrial design, user-centered design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology, human-computer interaction, etc.)
• 8 to 10 years’ experience as a UX designer
• Ability to re-think and re-imagine complicated, disconnected flows
• Ability to translate customer and business needs into compelling conceptual ideas
• Contributes to shaping the strategic experience design approach for projects and initiatives
• Strong prototyping skills demonstrated through various techniques: sketch, paper, wireframe, video, or interactive prototypes
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, and Adobe’s Creative Suite
• Understanding of web and mobile technologies and technology trends
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Organization, logic, and analytical skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to ask good questions and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to communicate ideas to a diverse audience and constructively integrate feedback
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well in a team environment.
• Understanding and ability to build and contribute to customer journey maps and service design blueprints
• Ability to plan and co-facilitate workshops

Nice To Have:

• Animation Skills – Page transition
• Financial Industry experience
• Experience in the investing and/or insurance industries
• Mortgage knowledge or experience
