Job Description:

Client, one of Canada’s leading professional services firms, provides audit, tax, enterprise risk, consulting, and financial advisory services through more than 8,000 people in 50 offices. Our professional services are diverse — from forensic accounting, control assurance, security services, risk management, strategy consulting and enterprise applications, including Oracle, SAP, Cognos, technology services to indirect tax, accounting, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and personal tax and financial planning. Key Responsibilities/Job Functions:

• Leads the technical design, development and implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
• Manages process for determining deliverables, resources, and schedules
• Oversees the development components under their management
• Manages small to medium technical issues to resolution.
• Analyzes, defines and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment.
• Contributes to defining time tables and project plans; analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs.
• Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved.
• Takes lead for establishing, implementing and monitoring ‘best practices’ for technical development methodologies and tools.
• Reviews and approves unit and integration testing for conformance to standards and adherence to design specifications.
• Leads the development of design requirements, designs, tests, document and implements systems and programs.
• Extends expertise across multiple technical domains
• Influences the development of plans and processes.
• Contributes to the development of standards in areas of domain expertise.
• Extends awareness of risks associated with application development and of potential impacts within IT, the business, and / or the firm’s reputation.
• Incorporates risk planning and mitigation into work efforts.-Determines staffing requirements and may select team members.
• Signs-off code reviews.
• Must be able to demonstrate at least 5+ years’ experience in at least 4 of the 7 skills below to be considered.
• .NET (C# preferred) – Should have used MVC patterns
• ASP.NET web development
• MS SQL Development
• Azure Cloud development
• Javascript – Angular 2 and above or React
• Mobile development (no specific technology)
• API development (SOAP or REST)
• Must demonstrate at least one project that was delivered using Agile methodology
• Must possess or be eligible for a Government of Canada security clearance at the Enhanced Reliability level
